Earlier today Joe called from work to tell me that the hospital had called. His Mom had just passed after a long, difficult battle with cancer. It had become apparent to all of us the last few days that she was coming to the end of her journey on Earth. She had finished the work God planned for her life.
Throughout her suffering, she never complained and never stopped worrying about her family. A finer mother there never was. She died today, the way that she lived.....graciously.
I was out in the yard taking this photograph when he called. For those who do not believe God speaks to us through nature, I think that perhaps this image should be shared with them.
She is home now, and at peace. Thank you all for your continued prayers, during this past year. May God bless each and everyone of you.
My, that's so touching that it moves me deeply! So sorry for Joe's loss, yet it is such a comfort to know that she is at rest with the Lord!..,
