All good things must come to an end ;o( Before I left the island I had to make one more stop...
A wonderful find once again, and the only treasure that I purchased on my trip.
A very kind and talented gentleman makes these incredible egrets from thick plastic sheeting, the kind that typical outdoor chairs are made from...nothing typical about these creations though! After I snagged one of them, I headed straight for the ferry (and got there by the skin of my teeth!) My jeep was the very last vehicle to board ( on standby no less )
I think that in my heart I had hoped to get bumped! A picture perfect day for sailing away...and look at that wonderful escort zervice ( I think that Becky hired them to make zure that I returned to her and the G-dog zafely!)...
I think that he looks a little like Johnathan Livingston Seagull to me!
One day I hope that I can call Chincoteague my forever home...but for now, I have wonderful memories to cherish!
