Why Becky Blue Bonnet?

Awwww gee nobody can tell me why ma picked the name Becky Blue Bonnet!

I know ma didn't watch the movie this weekend...too busy cookin' and cleanin' for Easter Dinner!

I've been thinkin' now that I ate the last of our Easter ham ( boy was that good!)....why did ma choose the name Becky Blue Bonnet? Was it after the margarine?
Was it after a big business?

Was it after some purdy flowers that I can dig up when they bloom?

Geez all in a basket with a big blue bow ....

Maybe it has to do with this little girl...that girl sure does have a pretty blue bonnet.....is her name Becky? Becky with a Blue Bonnet? That must be it!!!

Ma said that maybe tomorrow when we talk to Lynn of Rocky Creek, I will understand everything! ( gee I bet it ain't too rocky anymore after all the rain!)

  1. P. S. Tell Angus I'm not a great fan of pink myself and if he finds himself in dire straits, he can come live on the farm with us -smile-. Trouble is, he won't be all that purdy and clean but he'll have a whale of a time!
