OK while we await the departure of de' bug, I have to keep the storyline moving here....very thick, humid, icky, stinky, stuffy, damp, heavy air here....kinda like the Seven Dwarfs of the atmosphere!
While the weather for most people may seem a bit dreary, it's really the perfect weather for nature photography!
After my Mother- In- Law passed I wanted to honor her with an appropriate addition to our prayer garden...
With Mother's Day approaching quickly, I wanted to dedicate the garden to her. I found the bulbs....and then I found this......
The only one at one of the local garden centers! I know that her Irish eyes were smiling down on that garden center at that very moment....
We plan on planting more bulbs at the cemetery this coming weekend.....we know that she'll like that. I have always felt closer to family and friends that are no longer with us through gardening.
How do you honor and feel close to loved ones who have departed all too soon?

Beautiful flower pictures! I've had shamrocks growing for the past two years but this year they haven't come up yet, but I still have hopes. I really hope you start feeling better soon. It's awful to have a bug or a cold when the weather is warm. Yucky for sure. Take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous flowers and I LOVE the cross in your garden.
