  4. I just came in from taking pics of some of my first blooms. Your photos are beautiful and so is the post to go with them!! I recognize all the varieties of birds except the speckled one on the bird bath.

    It' a European starling...the snowbird :o)
    They take over every year around March-April...the one in the picture is an interloper...LOL

    They come in like a band of unruly tourists with attitudes and claim the feeders..for now...when the grey catbird pair we have returns, they will be "outta town"....

    Tiey are all taken in my yard ( front and back)..Heather they must be on a direct pather from your yard to mine ( and vice vera ;o)
    I take most of the pix from the den where I have a beautiful view of the yard ( when the flooding isn't there!
