OK....rain here today temporarily keeping me & G-Dog in the house :o(
We have mucho preparation here going on ( like the new fence in front to keep Becky Blue Bonnet safe!
We also have one more HUGE tree to cut down in front over the weekend which now has literally grown under the foundation of the house!!!
People have been wondering where the name came from. By now most of you know sweet Miss Becky (and her wonderul menagerie),at
Sweet Cottage Dreams (and if you don't run, don't walk over to her blog!)
Becky has been a bright light in my life for several years.......we have shared much tea and sympathy. With that in mind, I knew that once we did bring new life into our home, there would be three things involved:
a) It would be a wheaten Scottie,
b) It would be a female, and
c) It would be named Becky Blue Bonnet.
The Blue Bonnet is in memory of our female Scottie, Bonnie BlueBelle.
It has been almost two years now since Bonnie crossed over the bridge.....Ryan followed her last fall. Our home has been filled with loss, both animal and human, for the last few years.
Becky BlueBonnet will follow in our Bonnie BlueBelle's footsteps.....she truly will be a "swift warrior prince", like Bonnie and all the other strong female Scottie, who have gone before her.
All I can say now to G-dog is, ya better get your act together pup...the new girl in town is gonna give you a run for your money (or biscuits ;o)...I suspect that she will be teaching him a thing or two!
NOTE: for those visiting via
Rocky Creek Scottie Adventures, Becky BlueBonnet, will be traveling but way of JEEP.....a jeep that has already been partially filled with toys, bedding, and puppy supplies even now ;o)
We found the PAWFECT store to prepare for the puppy party!

HOW CUTE CAN ONE IMAGE BE???????????????
Gotta go to
