Well I REALLY Have Done it Now Ollie!!!!!

Who would have thought............after all cleaning and blow drying and praying..

Remember my little tale about the dark beer the other day.....well there are 3 (YEP...THREE)keys that I till cannot get to work. I have to copy and pa_te them to get a point acro__....
Can you gue__ which key will not work at all? A very important one, that I need to _gin in...,

to type my ID in blogger.....

to do ANYTHING...
Well the very fir_t per_on to po_t a re_pon_e to my tale of woe, will be getting a package in the mail from me...and no it will not be the dog....or choice of cat----

On to my wordle__ tale for today.

I like weather...I like wind....I like rain...very exciting to watch, and to hear from the cozy warm den with the big window to watch the wildlife from.

Here are a few that came to drop in for a bite to eat in the yard today...enjoy and be careful out there, the next day..or two..or three!..

Hug--- from Nancy and Angu---

AN ADDED NOTE FROM ME :o)

Today I worked on my gratitude journal....an important part of my life now...today I am grateful for:

All of the life that I can watch from my window...everyday...my heart, warmed by nature, everyday...

The chance to blog...to meet, to greet, to laugh, to cry...kindred blogger(plural) make my world rock!

Every furbaby I have and have had, throughout my life....

To be able to walk along the beach, at anytime, day or night, anytime of the year, no matter what the weather...

Hopefully I will be able to include my non-working KEY(plural) too, in a day..or two....or three!!!!

In Memory Of Renee

In her memory, this post is dedicated....for Renee, for her family, for all of those who have been touched by her life. I only knew her for a brief amount of time. I can only hope that the following prayer reflects what I feel she is saying to those left behind. Thank you Renee....so blessed to have met you.

An Indian Prayer

I give you this one thought to keep,
I'm with you still. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush,
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone
I am with you still, in each new dawn.
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand there at my grave an cry
I am not there, I did not die.

~ My Heart ~

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Matthew 6:21

Yesterday, we finally had some warm sunny weather. I was able to pay some badly needed attention to my poor backyard. It had been abandonned since the last snowstorm. Flooded, muddy, still with some small snowdrifts in the corners, I ventured out. One of the first places I examined for signs of life, was the herb garden. I looked down and saw this:

Like my angelic friend Becky at Sweet Cottage Dreams, I see hearts all the time ~ or they see me.
I'm not sure when I started to notice this ~ I think it was about 10 years ago. I was involved in some pretty intense Spiritual Direction, with a very kind nun. Quite new to this, I was a little apprehensive at first. I don't relax very easily under circumstances like that, needing to be in control ( very Type A personality :o)~

One particular day, she had asked me to do some visualization. It was about being given a box to open by God. Normally I would have been shifting in my seat, wanting to glance at the time. This time was different.
When she asked my what I saw inside the box, I instantly said,
"It's a HEART!"
She smiled at me and said,"how funny, the first time my Director did this meditation with me, I said the exact same thing."
I knew that I was on the right track.

My heart is in nature.......always has been, always will be. That is where I always feel that I am close to God.
When you open your box, what do you see......how do you connect with God?
I hope that your answers leap out at you, the way mine did, and hopefully, always will!
